I am enjoying French School. This year I have moved to a new school. I have to get the bus at 8.45am and I get home at 5.00pm. My teacher is called Monsieur Olivier and he is kind and funny. He only speaks a little bit of English so I have to try and speak french. We are not allowed to have packed lunches at french school so every day I have to have a french school dinner. My favourite day is strawberry pudding day! At home I have a trampoline, a swimming pool, a tree house with an aerial runway and a football pitch. We have only had a few hot days when we could go outside – the rest of the time it has been raining and we have been inside with our log fire. I miss you all and hope to hear from you soon. Hi everyone, it Amber!!  I have  shown my mum, dad unitedkids.co.uk!! Once again they couldnt believe it was written by year 4′s!!! My nan is on holiday in south america, i have emailed her and asked her if she could go on unitedkids.co.uk! She said yes, and she has forward it to my auntie in austrailia!! I havent seen the dot in france yet for xavier!

Monday: Today I woke up very early (not to watch TV) to lay the table for breakfast beacuse we were going on holiday to Wales. And not just any old place in Wales. We were going to a Welsh resort called Bluestone (Which is like Center Parks but is much more better and bigger) You see Center Parks is only 100 acres and Bluestone is 500 acres (also this is our 4th year going to Bluestone) Anyway the drive took about 5 and a half hours and we got to cross The Severn Bridge which is the bridge linking Britain to Wales. On the way there I watched 2 DVD’s : Pirates of the Carribbean Dead Man’s Chest and Thunderbirds. When we had reached Cardiff we got out of the car and into services. We noticed that there were a lot of army soldiers there. When we had finally reached  Bluestone we had to book in at the front office. The people there told us we were in Buttercup Cottage. But there were also some lodges there but they were further away from the village and lake. We had arrived at the time school ends and we were early so we had to go into the adventure centre to wait for our cottage to be cleaned. My Dad and Mum have bad memories of Bluestone because last year they left one of there most fave films in the DVD player at a cottage called Oak Cottage it was called Star Trek. At the Adventure Centre they had got a new restaraunt called Wildwood which had computers in it and upstairs seating,stage and a model of a tree with a face. When our cottage were ready everyone went to them. Our one had a bunk bed in it and a giant Panasonic Television and a big cooker oven. It took an hour to unpack and after we had unpacked me and my sister Molly went out on our bikes to a soft play area and we met three friends there they were all siblings. There was a boy called Freddie who was eight, his little brother called Joel who was 2 and a half and finally a one year old baby called Martha. After that we all went out a restaraunt called The Yard and I had a yummy marshmellow rocky road and chocolate eclairs for dessert. Tuesday: Today because it was Valentines Day me and Molly  sneaked downstairs and layed the table for breakfast. After that we watched Scooby Doo Valentines edition and the normal Tracy Beaker and we also watched Tracy Beaker returns. When mum and dad came downstairs they were so impressed they took us to the collosall water park called Blue Lagoon. It had an outside flume so when you went down it you were outside. It also had an oynx black dark hole flume which wasn’t fast it was just pitch black. The wave pool had enormous waves a metre high. It also had a lazy river that pulled any one in who dared to enter. After Blue Lagoon I had to get ready to go to Newton Knights Training. At Knights Training we were split into two groups and I was put with two boys called Owen and Aiden. We had to choose team names and we were called The Bluestone Warriors  we had blue war paint put on our cheeks. At Knights Training we got to do archery, scavenger hunt, welly wagging, tails and we got to hide in a field of giant grass. After Knights Training I had to cook Chicken Pesto and Bannanas and Custard for tea. The reason I was doing this was to achieve an important cooking badge for my cub pack. Wednesday: Today we went to the Adventure Centre and we did a mini version of the woodland warriors sky trail. After that we got to go to the soft play area and found Freddie there with Joel and Martha. He told us he was going to movie madness and were going too! At Movie Madness we watched Mr Poppers Penguins and Rango.  They had provided buffet food like marshmellows and sausage rolls, yummy! Thursday: Today in the morning me and Molly had to do wilderness suvior where we had to do a 50ft high zipline it was also as long as a football pitch. We had to build shelter, make bread, make flags and also build fires. After that we had lunch at Camp Smokey which has upstairs seating everyone had burgers. After Wilderness Surviors we went to a welsh beach  and Tesco. After that we went back to Bluestone and went to a party called Twm Syn Cati were there was an evil Sherrif of Catum. After that we all went down to the lake for a firework display and the lantern lighting. Friday: Today we woke up bright and breezy in the morning to pack up and go to Blue Lagoon and The Adventure Centre so that I could do sky trail again. Thank you for reading about my half term.
